Look U Ministry : Running Back

Why we are able to run back to him is the essence of his love and sacrifice. The flesh (man) after the fall and having his eyes open (mind and spirit) to corruption and disobedience no longer had perfect communion with God. We died a spiritual death. The some knowing fallen angel (serpent) that had a glimpse of things to come told a half truth in saying that man would not surely die. He was right to the extent that death was not assured in the physical ( not recognized) sense and it was not instant, yet we did die.

The body we had prior to the fall could live for ever. We did not have skin as we know it until after we sinned and was punished by being made to leave the Garden and his continuous presence. Running back to him (God) is best appreciated when we understand the plan of salvation that was instituted for man to be redeemed after his free will action (act of disobedience).

God made a way (provision ) for man to return to the love that was shared in the Garden even after man betrayed him and adjoined himself to the spirit of the fallen angels. What manner of love is this? The creation turns against the Creator and yet the Creator, creates a way through love and sacrifice (of himself) for him to return to the place in relationship that man had with him before the fall.

Knowing this is to comprehend the envy and jealousy (hate) that fallen angels (demons) have of man. They can never return to their original communion with God after their disobedience and revolt. We can not only return to our original place but as we continue to wrestle with life on earth and battle unclean spirits (thoughts) and find ourselves feeling distant from our connection we can run back (repent) pray and feel a sense of renewal in our walk (relationship). This is a function of the "Soul" that was given to man.

Blast24 : Mr. James Brown

I am mourning my mentor, friend and inspiration Mr. Brown. He is resting after a very long and successful completion (with honors) of his mission and orders from on high. Well done. A follower of the "Christ" who went home on the day we celebrate as the birth of Jesus.

All my personal and private time and performances with, "The God Father Of Soul" I will cherish for ever. The wisdom that he deposited within me I will continue to study and carry on. In his honor I will never stop utilizing the gifts of music and performance and continue to harness the power of music as an agent of change and responsibility.

Look University: What's Goin On? Default Leaders

The year 2007 has come and now has begun it's fade into history. On a personal level this year has brought spiritual and emotional growth (joy and pain). The joy of watching my wife and children embrace life and all of it's complexities. The Church remains the pillar and foundation of their collective souls. More credit to their mom than me. The traditional Church of yesterday remains absent (I miss her) in my journey as I look and search for the place of Agape Love.

I love going to Church but this Church will never be found in a building and remains hidden and yet calling out from the depths of my soul. This is not a search for salvation because that I have obtained and apprehended in Jesus,"The Christ" personified. This is a search for a level of intimacy in him, that allows the flesh to stay under submission in a natural world that is inundated with super natural beings. A place where mysteries are revealed and anointing and power is increased.

In this place and state of being,"What's Going On" with the people matters. Love will allow you to not only see what's going on with our brothers and sisters but to do something about it. It is a call to action. I cry and I moan in my spirit when I'm confronted with the reality of the condition of my brothers and sisters in my own community.

Most of this conditioning is not within the communities control. A lot is. The choice of violent resolution most be abated in our community. What's going on?

We have to stop glorifying those who have become leaders and voices of our community by default. Fame is not a qualification and validation of and for leadership. One becomes famous by access and gross impressions. Anything (anybody) that is played, viewed and googled enough times becomes famous. Singing, dancing, athletes and entertainers are not automatically qualified to be leaders and neither do many want to be. I think we can all agree on that.

However, there is another group of "default leaders" that hide behind wealth. These "default leaders" are much more dangerous to the community than famous default leaders. The reason is that their wealth gives them access to the decision makers that affect your day to day lives. Remember the same rule of thumb applies to this group as well, just because you created a product or commodity that is successful and has made you wealthy doesn't in and of itself qualify you to be a community voice and leader. Unfortunately by the time we catch up with your misrepresentation of the community you are entrenched as a socialite and it's difficult to repair the breach of your neglect and disregard of the people. What's goin on?

Leaders are born , not made. The heart is the unequivocal qualification for leadership. You must have a burden for the people. This burden must cause you sleepless nights. You have to be willing to sacrifice all, to lead the people. The current condition of my people is the result of default leadership both in the government and in our own community. Black people must begin to glorify leaders who have a track record of giving and not a track record of wealth and fame. Look at our condition and ask your self, what has the wealthy and famous person you look up to done for your own community ? knowing that he or she has the resources and influence to affect change. Here. At home. What's goin on is 2008 is an opportunity for new beginnings in our thoughts (how we think and choose), spirits (renewal) and deeds (action). The hope of my community and our country depends and rest upon it.

"Just because you never heard it, doesn't mean it's not being said".

This young man has a lot of wisdom. He is a gifted musician as well. I enjoy listening to and hearing the perspective, position and vision of ministers from all walks of life and denominations. Here you get a good glance of Minister Tribbett's ministry.

Blast24 : Monday Friends Day

What would life be like without friends? The very concept of friendships is base upon the need to have interactivity in order to grow and have a better life experience. Our best memories are connected to the friends we shared them with. In each stage of life we get a new group of friends and a new set of moments that will become friend related memories. I'm thankful for my friends and I cherish the memories. I will now make Mondays the day I pray and thank God for my friends.

"Just because you never heard it, doesn't mean it's not being said

Before we get into the conundrum that the body currently finds itself in...let us not forget that the work that is being done by the many continues to bare fruit.
Pray that in humility we make it through this new season and that our doings are anchored in Christ and him crucified. Save our children.

We have moved into a new season. Preachers attacking preachers by name and with passion. Reminds me a lot of the rap world....which is for your entertainment. The difference is this is not for your entertainment but men in leadership arguing and insulting one another in a public forum...(like the political debates...I guess) and getting extremely personal. The danger here is for those outside of the body, whom already look at Christianity with one eye closed. These men speak for themselves and do not represent or reflect a corporate view or voice of Christianity. Where is the Love? I certainly have learned over the years that as ministers our positions on issues change. This comes with revelation and wisdom by and from the Holy Spirit.
Based on the season we have now entered into, the shaking and sifting of the house of God has begun.

These reports on the Gospel of prosperity are interesting for their timing as much as there context. Preachers being prosperous is not and should not be the issue...more members, more giving, more revenue. The issue is the doctrine and ideology that is being preached. I know many of these men and women personally and I don't agree with the spirit of these attacks. Jan and Paul Crouch have helped to bring the Gospel to the world. Literally responsible for millions of souls being won and encouraged. Bishop Jakes has helped to put many families back together and has helped and supported the homeless and has helped the incarcerated for years to prepare for reentry and has lead thousand to God. If the only challenge you have with these men and women of God is their net worth, then your vetting and scrutiny is without merit and reeks of envy and jealousy. What roll does politics play here? Election year etc...

This new,"Tear Down Gospel" comes at a time when the Kingdom is under great scrutiny. We have to be careful and prayerful of the words we speak, because we are accountable.
Hate Gospel serves no purpose historically and is not of God. Is your ministry one of hate and separation? Listen to yourself and be judged by your own words.
